Douglas Nordfors is a native of Seattle, and currently lives in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has published three books of poetry, “Auras" (2008), "The Fate Motif" (2013), and “Half-Dreaming” (2020), all with Plain View Press. New work is forthcoming in “Broad River Review,” “Valparaiso Poetry Review,” “Poetry South,” “JuxtaProse Literary Magazine,” and other journals. He’d like to be like the child in the poem, but he enjoys intellectualizing too much.
