Emma Ferguson holds a Masters in Hispanic literature from NYU in Madrid, and has been studying both Spanish and English language poetry throughout her adult life. She writes in English, and translates from Spanish outside her teaching job and family life in Seattle. She translates contemporary female poets from Spain, and in English, she obsesses over motherhood, and the intricacies of domestic and urban lives in the twenty-first century.
