Religion scholar Swasti Bhattacharyya and I worked on our "Eye and Image" project for a year. She sent me photos from wherever she was in the world, I wrote a poem in response, and then she would take another photo inspired by something in the poem. This was my favorite poem to come out of that collaboration.
