A recent graduate of the MFA program at the Vermont College of Fine Arts, Mary Warren Foulk lives in western Massachusetts with her wife and two children. She is an educator, writer, and activist. Her work has appeared in VoiceCatcher, Cathexis Northwest Press, Arlington Literary Journal, and Palette Poetry, among other journals. “portrait of a queer as a young boy” is from her collection If I Could Write You a Happier Ending, a poetic memoir centering on the topics of sibling loss and queer identity.
