Michael Gino LoStracco teaches Philosophy and World Religions at George School, in Newtown, PA. The poem "In Beauty it is Finished" comes from his most recent stay on the Navajo reservation in Arizona and is named after a traditional Navajo saying.  It is part of a larger collection of Four Corners poems and is dedicated to community leader and medicine woman, Lena Young, whose “teaching hikes” were at once personal, historical, and profoundly spiritual.
