The persona poems included here deal with perspectives on consent, agency, and body autonomy. My work is currently featured in Bear Review, Foliate Oak, Willawaw Journal, Cirque, and is forthcoming in Pirene's Fountain. I am a 2019 Oregon Literary Arts Fellow. When not writing, I match international students at Lewis & Clark College with local residents to help them feel welcome and at home during their time in Oregon. My current daily focus is exploring notions of welcome and of home—in the universe, on a city block, within one's own skin, particularly during times of profound insecurity.
