Having dinner with my son one night, I asked him to explain his graduate research to me, and he began with the Central Dogma of Molecular Biology. My son has always loved science because of its logical, concrete answers. I thought about my wife and I deciding to to try and have a baby in the early 1990s. I'm so glad we took that leap!
Pam Crow is an award-winning poet who lives in Portland, Oregon.
