Rose Strode is a poet and essayist whose recent work appears in la piccioletta barca, Dillydoun, Sugar House Review, New Ohio Review, The Florida Review, and Kestrel. She is a recipient of the Gulick Fellowship at Valparaiso University, a master gardener, and an editor at Stillhouse Press. When not writing or helping others with their writing, Rose rehabilitates old, overgrown gardens. Her favorite tools are her eraser and her pruning shears.
