Sean Reynolds a poet and critic living in Chicago. A decade of studying Ancient Greek has left him with a deep love for creating long epithets, especially those with participles, which was the starting point for this particular poem. His co-translation of Swiss poet Gustave Roud, entitled Air of Solitude, is forthcoming from Seagull Books.
