Poems, for Now
Editors’ Commentary
War, gun violence, climate change. Drought, forest fires, Covid. These topics remain thematically relevant to this year’s issue of Poems, for Now. The poems within answered our call to poets asking them to speak to their immediate socio-political concerns. We thank everyone who submitted to this issue and, since part of the submission fee to Poems, for Now is traditionally donated to Philabundance, we thank each of our submitters for their generosity. We hope readers will find the poems presented here thought-provoking and moving.
